The Loop-W8220 Outdoor CPE is one of the most advanced, low power, outdoor, WIMAX CPE devices in the market today. The W8220 provides the cost-efficient last mile broadband wireless solution for residential users, small office, home office (SOHO) and small medium size enterprises (SME). The W8220 is IEEE802.16e-2005 compliant and available in two models: the 2.5 GHz model which operates in the licensed 2.5 GHz to 2.7 GHz band and the 3.5 GHz model which operates in the licensed 3.4 GHZ to 3.6 GHz band. The W8220 has two external antenna ports and one Ethernet port with overall lightning protection. The MIMO options comes 1Tx/2Rx or 2Tx/2Rx to fulfill customer’s need. SIMO (Single Input Multiple Output) and MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) operations which can be enhanced the throughput and reduced the interference. The W8220 ODU WiMAX CPE now is available today on existing certified WiMAX networks. This allows operators to offer new services without waiting for WiMAX Mobile networks.
